Atlantis Dunes lies within the City of Cape Town's Witzands Aquifer Nature Reserve. We ride only where quad biking is allowed and follow the reserve's Code of Conduct.
Every ride starts with a safety briefing and a practice session. Helmets and safety gear are included.
A guide leads your group through the dunes for your whole session, so you never ride the reserve on your own.
We confirm your total, including the City's reserve permit, before anything is booked.
Each package is a guided session on the dunes. Prices are on request: we'll quote your total, including the City of Cape Town's reserve permit, before anything is booked.
A short first taste of the dunes. A good fit if you are new to quad biking or fitting it into a busy day.

Your guide fits your helmet and safety gear and talks you through the controls, riding on sand and the reserve's rules.
Get comfortable on your quad before heading into the dunes.
Follow your guide in single file through the area set aside for quad biking. Staying in the tracks ahead is easier in loose sand and protects the reserve.
Pause to catch your breath and take photos of the dunes.
Ride back to the start and hand back your helmet and gear.
Your 30, 45 or 60 minutes is your guided session on the dunes, including stops, so it isn't non-stop riding. Allow extra time for check-in and kitting up; we'll tell you when to arrive.
The Homeless Group Tours was started in 2024 by Cape Town local Andile Mandla Mdebuka. Meet Andile.
Don't have a car? Ask us to quote a transfer from your accommodation to the dunes and back.
ID, the City's indemnity form, age limits and the Wednesday closure are all set out on our quad biking page, so there are no surprises at the gate.
We also run heritage tours, nightlife evenings and airport transfers, so you can plan more of your trip with one operator.
